History
Founded in 2005, our firm has guided clients through some of the most dramatic changes in the history of United States patent law. From the "Patent Troll" era, when we helped brokerage clients analyze thousands of patents per quarter, to the Bilski v. Kappos, eBay v. MercExchange, Alice v. CLS Bank, and KSR v. Teleflex Supreme Court decisions which significantly modified the values of existing patents, to the America Invents Act and the enactment of Inter Partes Review (IPR), we've spent our careers on the frontlines of an industry in constant flux, and stand ready to put our expertise to work for you.
We have assisted our clients in litigation, assertive and defensive licensing actions, and portfolio mining and management, just to name a few. We will bring the same service and expertise to your team; our client base includes Fortune 500 tech companies, law firms and tech startups.
